On November 11th, the team competed at UCSD in hopes of qualifying for the greater SoCal FLL competition held at Legoland. The team won the prestigious Champion’s Award, given to the team that best exemplifies FIRST values while also performing well with their robot. This exemplary performance allowed them to advance to Legoland to try and qualify for the world championships in Houston.
On December 2nd, at Legoland, Team Technobotic Dolphins took first place out of 60 teams in the "inspiration award" category in the So Cal regional at Legoland. This award celebrates a team that is empowered by their FLL experience and displays extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit.
