Summer Girl's Robotics Workshop

Girls and women are still a minority within robotics and STEM fields. Our goal is to help introduce girls in our community to robotics through a fun, interactive, week-long curriculum. Our workshop will provide the low-pressure environment that cultivates girls' passion and curiosity for robotics, allowing them to learn without pressure.
Throughout the week, students will be split into teams where they work together and learn the necessary skills to build and program a LEGO Spike Prime robot capable of completing various tasks for “points” in a mock competition, similar to FIRST Lego League, and participate in various fun activities like a Tower Building Challenge, Squishmallow Dodgeball, and Friendship Bracelet Making.
Note: This workshop is targeted towards incoming 4th - 6th grade girls
